“Digital Playground has always been committed to providing the best fan experience possible,” says Samantha Lewis, Digital Playground’s CEO.  “Jesse recently tested our new live video chat capabilities, and the flawless result ensured our decision to move forward.  With the overwhelming response from consumers and critics to ‘Nurses’, we decided to launch a special promotion of ‘Nurses’ to implement the web chat technology on a regular basis.”

Digital Playground’s VP of New Media, Farley Cahen adds, “Social networking sites have been a great way for our stars to connect with fans on a personal level, but we wanted to give them a more intimate experience.  Exclusive live video chats are a way in which our fans can talk one on one with our contract stars and get to know them beyond what they see on DVD or on our websites.  When you add the star power of Jesse Jane and a title like ‘Nurses’, the traffic is astronomical.  Additionally, live chat really helps our webmasters convert to our sites at a tremendous rate.”

Jesse Jane exclaims, “I had so much fun talking dirty with people online and helping make their naughtiest dreams come true.  This time is going to be even wilder!  I get so horny thinking about all the people watching me touch myself.  Of course my girls Riley and Angelina are going to rock the Internet too.  We’re going to make fans all hot and bothered, and then nurse them back to health.”

The sexy nurses of Coos County General Hospital are patient care experts of the most feverish kind. Robby D.’s “Nurses” stars the industry’s sexiest performers in eight intense scenes.  Riley Steele gets a lesson from her idol Jesse Jane in how to best assist Dr. Ferrara.  Stoya gives James Deen the examination of a lifetime.  All the nurses work together to find the cure for Erik Everhard‘s sex addiction. With these hot nurses bathing, pampering, and tending to patients’ every need, it’s easy to see why no one wants to check out.  AVN‘s Peter Warren writes, “Far and away the best installment yet…’Nurses’ is the veritable epitome of what most could possibly want out of a fuck flick…You can be sure this puppy will be maintaining a comfy spot high atop bestseller retail displays a long, long time.”  Don Houston of XCritic.com adds, “Highly recommended…a lot of fuck for the buck!”

You may have already heard that 46 percent of American women and 30 percent of their male counterparts would prefer to go without sex for two weeks than be deprived of Internet access for the same length of time. This revelation has been fueling breathless headlines for the past few days, with the Wall Street Journal bemoaning the gender disparity in the study’s findings (“Men have always faced challenges when it comes to romance. Here’s a sign that technology may have raised another hurdle”) and the Observer indulging in the following egregious pun: “A new Intel survey reports that women would rather Tumblr than take a tumble in bed.”

Personally, I have shied away from covering the study, which seems to me to be the non-story to end all non-stories. But now that even the New York Times is taking note of the findings, I feel compelled to inject a dose of reality into the conversation.

More women would give up sex rather than go without Internet access, according to a new survey.

Nearly half of the women questioned by Harris Interactive said they’d be willing to forgo sex for two weeks, rather than give up their Internet access, according to a study released Monday by Intel, which commissioned the survey.

While 46 percent of the women surveyed were willing to engage in abstinence versus losing their Internet, only 30 percent of the men surveyed were willing to do likewise.

The U.S. survey, which queried 2,119 adults last month, found that the gap grew even wider for both men and woman who were 18 to 34 years old. For woman, the percentage of those willing to skip the sheets in favor of the Web rose to 49 percent, while it climbed to 39 percent for men.

A quick Google search for “sex” returns a whopping 67 million pages. A search for “porn” turns up more than 18 million pages.

As popular and ubiquitous as sex is on the Internet, it would seem like a natural fit for Web-based businesses looking to attract page views and revenue.

But some big sites built on user-shared content have decided it’s smart business to limit sexually explicit material.
