Christine Hubbs is a 42-year-old mother who is alleged to have had long-term sexual relationship with two teenage boys in her Bay Area town of Livermore, California. As her story breaks nationally, the media have delighted in reporting salacious details, especially the moniker by which she’s been called in local reports: “Hummer Mom!” And no, the reasoning behind that name might not be what you think.
At Susquenita High School, 15 miles outside of Harrisburg, Pa., eight students, ranging in age from 13 to 17, have learned a tough lesson about “sexting.”
“Take a photograph of yourself or somebody else nude and send it to somebody else, you’ve committed the crime,” said Perry County District Attorney Charles Chenot, who has prosecuted two sexting cases involving a total of 10 minors in the past year.
Chenot said he considers sexting a form of child pornography and wants kids to understand once those images are in someone else’s hands they could wind up anywhere, even the Internet, possibly forever.

The age-old Miss USA pageant has come under fire for posting suggestive photos and videos of 51 hopefuls on their official website.
The Miss USA contestants posed for the official photos in Las Vegas last week, with plenty of skin showing in highly provocative poses, clad mostly in lingerie. Critics are slamming the new direction as a ploy to grab ratings, while others are saying it’s a sign of the times and a way for the women to show their confidence and sexuality.
